Peak Dental Strategies was founded in 2018 by David Rodriguez, but the expertise behind it spans more than three decades of dental industry leadership and innovation.
After spending 30+ years building education programs, implementing new technologies, and driving market adoption for the biggest names in dentistry—Align Technology (Invisalign), KERR, VITA, Straumann, & Henry Schein Dental—David recognized a critical gap in the market: practices wanted to adopt new technologies and bring profitable services in-house, but they lacked the practical implementation systems to make it work.
Too many practices were investing in produts, solutions or technology that never reached its potential. Too many teams were attending training that never translated into action. Too many doctors were referring out profitable cases—especially in orthodontics—because they didn’t have the workflows and confidence to capture them.
Peak Dental Strategies was created to bridge that gap—delivering the same world-class implementation systems and strategic frameworks that built billion-dollar brands to individual practices ready to transform their potential into predictable profit.

David and his Team bring years of specialized experience in the clear aligner space, having helped build and scale some of the most successful orthodontic brands and practices in the industry.
He spent almost a decade at Align Technology (Invisalign) directing enterprise-wide education strategy, pioneering the industry’s first comprehensive dental team training platform and generating over $50M in new revenue through strategic education initiatives. The systems he built became the model for scalable learning in dentistry.
Since then, David has continued refining his approach across multiple clear aligner companies—like SmileDirectClub and Orthobrain—working with thousands of doctors to translate technology investment into consistent production. He’s been in the room when practices succeed and when they fail, giving him unmatched insight into what actually works.
